Two decades of care. One big passion.
Sigrid McGuinness is the founder and heart of Hylo — a Credentialed Diabetes Educator and Registered Nurse who has spent 20 remarkable years making a real difference in people's lives. With a career spanning hospitals, community health, and a decade deep in primary health care, Sigrid brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and genuine, down-to-earth warmth to every consultation.
A proud mum of two, Sigrid understands firsthand the juggle of real life — and that's exactly what sets her apart. She doesn't deal in textbook advice. She meets people where they are, listens without judgement, and equips them with the knowledge and confidence to actually live well with diabetes.
Driven by the belief that everyone deserves to understand their own health, Sigrid founded Hylo to bring specialist diabetes education to the Dayboro community and beyond — because great care shouldn't require a trip to the city.
